Major repair works started in 980 of 999 multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan

On April 30, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at Tatarstan Government House, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the republic reported that as of April 29, according to Tatarstan State Housing Fund, 2,652 inspections have been conducted in 42 municipalities, based on which 19 safety rules violations have been revealed in ten regions. They are, in particular, Agryz, Aksubayev, Almetievsk, Yelabuga, Chisopol and Yutaz regions, as well as Naberezhnye Chelny.
He went on to report that over the past two weeks, 288 inspections have been conducted in 29 municipal regions, resulting in revealing four safety rules violations in three regions.
Khanifov reported that the major repair works have started in 980 of the 999 multi-apartment houses under the 2015 programme.
He continued that within the programme of major repair of schools work has started at all 136 facilities, including 119 comprehensive schools, 7 correctional schools and 10 pre-school educational institutions. As of 29 April, 80.5 per cent of the funds has been spent.
Under the programme of providing water supply in rural areas, 301.3 km of water pipes are to be built, 38 artesian boreholes to be drilled and 38 water towers to be installed. Five boreholes have been drilled so far. Of the planned 38 water towers, 20 have been purchased and 15 delivered to the sites.
Tatarstan Prime Minister said the upcoming holidays are not days off for the builders, adding that it is important to make use of every sunny day and complete the construction.

On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.

On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
