Rustam Minnikhanov inspects field works in Drozhzhanovsky region

On May 4, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov, and Head of Drozhzhanovsky region Aleksandr Shadrikov inspected field works in Drozhzhanovsky region of the repubic.
Later on the same day, Rustam Minnikhanov met heads of agricultural organizations, investors, and heads of villages of the region, who told him about field works.
Marat Akhmetov informed that 77, 000 hectares have been sown in the republic on May 3, and 95, 000 hectares are to be sown today.
During his trip Rustam Minnikhanov visited Staroe Drozhzhanoe village and laid flowers to WWII veterans memorial. There are 31 veterans, 809 workers on the homefront and widows of veterans in the region.
In the morning Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of regional organizing committee on preparation for the 70th anniversary of Victory in the WWII.

On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
