Volleyball teams “Dinamo-Kazan” and “Zenit-Kazan” honoured at Kazan Kremlin

On May 4, at the Kazan Kremlin Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony in honour of champions of Russia 2015 volleyball teams “Dinamo-Kazan” and “Zenit-Kazan”. Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the teams and said that their victories have made a forthcoming Victory Day brighter.
“I am so happy to meet you on the threshold of the most important day – Victory Day. The teams have met our expectations. Luck is important, but work and aspiration are even more important,” Minnikhanov said. He added that managers, teams, and sponsors make up a big family and the whole country is proud of achievements of Kazan volleyball teams. Tatarstan has proved again that it is the center of volleyball in Russian Federation, Minnikhanov said.
The awards and certificates for 5 million roubles were handed over to the teams later on.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
