Rustam Minnikhanov visits training centre in Sarmanovo

On May 8, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov began his visit to Sarmanovo region if the republic by laying flowers to the monument to WWII veterans, erected here in 1997.
Minnikhanov greeted war veterans and wished them a happy upcoming holiday, 70th Victory Day. The Sarmanovo region is home to 1,113 war veterans. A total of 11,252 people left for the front during WWII, with more than 7,000 killed or gone missing from this region.
Minnikhanov visited the Sarmanovo working occupation centre that trains personnel for agricultural producers. The centre was opened at the Sarmanovo Agrarian College and provides training in tractor operation, electro-gas welding, mechanics, public catering product engineering, and driving.
Last year, 230 people graduated from the college, 566 are studying now, its Deputy Director Ilfat Nigmatullin said.
Rustam Minnikhanov inspected centre’s infrastructure, auditoriums and gymnasium, as well as Sarmanovo Agrarian College’s training and production infrastructure.
He called the resource centre a model, adding that with the kind of facilities the students should find the studies interesting.
Acting president also wished those gathered to complete the sowing campaign successfully.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
