Rustam Minnikhanov lays flowers to Eternal Flame in Victory Park

On May 9, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov of the republic and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin laid flowers to the Eternal Flame and Monument to mothers and widows of the fallen soldiers in the reconstructed Victory Park.
Leaders of the republic visited the pavilion “Book of condolence” where information about citizens of Tatarstan, who died during WWII, was presented. Rustam Minnikhanov liked the easy-to-use information system.
After laying flowers to the Eternal Flame, participants of the event watched performance of young musicians and looked around open-air museum of military equipment.
Meanwhile, pupils and students took part in the campaign “The Immortal Regiment” carrying pictures of their relatives, who fought in WWII.
Rustam Minnikhanov and other participants of the ceremony walked around the park area, new children’s playground and sports ground, and watched the festive Parade on Freedom Square.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
