Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of Jihostroj Jiri Gerle

On May 13, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Jihostroj Company (Czech Republic) Jiri Gerle discussed issues related to the construction of the company’s plant for the production of hydraulic equipment at the Specialized Economic Zone "Alabuga".
Minnikhanov noted that in an unstable political situation in the international arena it is necessary to support partnership relations between the Czech Republic and Russia. He added that Tatarstan and the Czech Republic have a number of joint projects.
In his turn Jiri Gerle thanked Minnikhanov for the reception. He briefly described the main areas of activities of the Jihostroj company." "We have several factories. We specialize in manufacturing aircraft components, motorcycles and hydraulic equipment," he said.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
