Rustam Minnikhanov: we need partners to develop our economy

On May 22, speaking at a board session of the Association of innovative regions of Russia in Tomsk,Acting President of Tatarstan Republic and Board Chairman of the Association Rustam Minnikhanov said that we need partners to develop our economy.
When answering the questions of journalists, Rustam Minnikhanov noticed that the amount of member-regions has increased from 8 to 14 for the last five years. “The association closely cooperates with all development institutes, in particular with Russian Ministry of economic development. Much has been done in sphere of law-making, improving legislative environment and developing and forming cluster-based economy. Having relations with similar foreign institutions is very crucial for experience exchange. The most important thing is our desire to be together and be useful”, he continued.
Board Chairman of the Association Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that we need partners to develop economy. Tatarstan closely collaborates with Persian Gulf countries, Turkey, China, Vietnam and other South-East Asian countries. Rustam Minnikhanov added that our republic cooperates with American and European partners who realize that we should not lose relations we have. In our turn, we are willing to preserve partnership with European countries.

On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
