Rustam Minnikhanov holds a meeting with Governor of Tomsk Region Sergey Zhvachkin

On May 22, upon completion of the board session of the Association of innovative regions of Russia in Tomsk, Acting President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov met Governor of Tomsk Region Sergey Zhvachkin to discuss collaboration between the two regions in scientific-technical and industrial fields.
Sergey Zhvachkin expressed his gratitude to Rustam Minnikhanov for the visit to Tomsk and the support given to the region in the field of innovative development.
Governor of Tomsk Region outlined that they achieved significant results, and the most important one is that they have cooperation among member-regions and intergrated development policy.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the Association is necessary for the regions in exchanging experience. He emphasized that Tatarstan adopts the experience of Tomsk region that is one of the largest scientific and educational centres in Russia.

On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
