Rustam Minnikhanov meets businessmen from Naberezhnye Chelny and Trans-Kama region

On June 3, within the framework of the project “Business and power: open talk”, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met businessmen from Naberezhnye Chelny and Trans-Kama region at Naberezhnye Chelny IT-park.
Tatarstan Presidential Commissioner for the protection of entrepreneurs’ rights Timur Nagumanov, Head of the executive committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, heads of regional ministries and agencies and businessmen of the republic took part in the meeting.
Minnikhanov welcomed participants of the meeting and noted that mechanisms of interaction between power and big business unlike small and medium-size enterprises are efficiently working today.
Mr Minnikhanov said that for 25 years of modern history the republic has been through several economic crises, and major efforts were taken to support small and medium-size enterprises on both regional and federal levels.
A businessman from Nizhnekamsk who specializes in repairing utilities network expressed his concern that representatives of certain sectors can get support under “Leasing grant” programme and asked to expand the list of spheres.
Minnikhanov answered that construction and utilities sectors are given special emphasis in the republic. He gave assignment to consider the request of the businessman and help him to purchase specialized equipment on preferable terms.
The owner of a small cleaning company asked Rustam Minnikhanov why only big companies win tenders for rendering services to medical organizations. Minnikhanov answered that these companies provide absolute cleanness of medical equipment and are reliable partners.
A businesswoman from Naberezhnye Chelny addressed a very urgent problem connected with the employment of disabled people. She said that businessmen are not willing to employ them. Rustam Minnikhanov said that local authorities should deal with the employment of disabled people.
Minnikhanov also discussed interaction of businessmen with tax inspectorate, import substitution and land relations.
Summing up, he noted that representatives of small and medium-size business should not be silent about violation of their rights.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
