Ildar Khalikov: “I hope that good dynamics in supplying heat and managing heating season will remain"

On June 4, speaking at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on results of work of fuel-energy and housing-utilities sectors in 2014/2015 heating season and tasks on efficient preparation for 2015/2016 heating season, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that one criterion for assessment of the heat supply in Tatarstan is the decreased number of complaints from consumers.
“The decrease in complaints is accounted for by higher stability of performance and quicker response to complaints,” Khalikov said.
Making a keynote report at the meeting, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the republic Alexei Frolov said that the heating season begun on September 16, 2014 and continued until May 12. 2015. The heating system of the housing stock was 95 per cent prepared for the heating period, while that of public institutions was prepared 100 per cent.
In general, the municipalities provided the launch of heating in due time, prioritising the social facilities. However, I would like to point up delays in the launch of heating in five municipalities: Kazan, Yelabuga region, Verkhny Uslon, Buinsk region and Naberezhnye Chelny, Frolov said.
Besides, there were temporary heating outages, caused by small accidents. Their duration was from 4 to 12 hours. The main causes were broken water pipes and worm holes in indoor heating systems, he concluded.
As of May, the housing and utilities entities’ debt for power consumption is 21.9 million roubles.
Summing up the meeting, Ildar Khalikov noted that preparation for the heating season is the most important.
“I expect good dynamics we have seen in the last two years in supplying heat and managing the heating season will remain throughout the next year,” he concluded.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
