Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Albert Gilmutdinov: the program "Algarysh" on a professional training in Russian and foreign educational centres of science will be continued

The Republic Tatarstan in 2010 will continue the program on professional training in Russian and foreign educational centres of science (program) "Algarysh".
Minister of Education and Science РТ Albert Gilmutdinov informed about this upon ending the session of the commission on preparation and retraining of personnel in Russian and foreign educational centres of science.
The session has passed under the chairmanship of RT Prime minister Rustam Minnikhanov.
As Albert Gilmutdinov stated, annually within the limits of the program training pass from 450 to 600 persons.
So, in 2009 preparation and retraining was conducted in seven directions. They are students, post-graduate students and young scientists (84 persons), the faculty (19 persons), the state and municipal employees (65 persons), heads of the higher and secondary link (95 persons), teachers of English language (123 persons), design groups (nanotechnologies ) (12 persons), experts in the field of physical culture, sports and tourism (30 persons),
In total the program it has covered in 2009 428 persons ( out of them 253 – in the Russian high schools and centres of science, others – abroad).
From financing total amount (120 million rbl.) more than half it has been channeled for students, post-graduate students and young scientists (63,7 million rbl.).
Average cost of training of students and post-graduate students makes from 300 thousand rbl. (in Russia) to 800 thousand rbl. (abroad).
In 2009, the grant receivers were trained in such countries, as Germany (97 persons), the USA (34 persons), Great Britain (22 persons), Switzerland (9 persons), Israel (4 persons), France (3 persons), Spain, Italy, Finland, Holland.
Albert Gilmutdinov informed that students, post-graduate students and young scientists had been trained in such directions, as economy, management, biology, building and architecture, ecology, an information technology, technical and is natural-scientific disciplines.
He also stated that almost all graduates of the program "Algarysh" today have been employed.
Answering a question on how many people are supposed to direct on training in 2010/211 academic years, RT Minister of Education and Science РТ assumed that it would depend on financing volume. While the question on allocation was not discussed, he told, today we have summed up 2009. «Clearly is one thing, a constructive discussion of the program» Algarysh took place, it «will proceed and develop», - Albert Gilmutdinov informed.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
