Rustam Minnikhanov speaks at VI All-Russia forum of Tatar religious figures in Kazan

On June 13, at a plenary session of VI All-Russia forum of Tatar religious figures “National identity and religion” in Kazan, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Islamic world is experiencing hard times that can be overcome by joint efforts.
Tatarstan Mufti Kamil Samigullin, Chairman of The Russian Council of Muftis Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of the Central Muslim Spiritual Board Talgat Tadzhutdin, rector of Russian Islamic Institute Rafik Mukhametshin , and others took part in the event.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the guests and said that holding the forum of Tatar religious figures before holiday “Izge Bolgar zhyeny” has become a good tradition. He said that Muslims from 63 Russian regions came to Kazan to take part in the forum.
Minnikhanov thanked participants of the event and noted that everyone makes invaluable contribution to maintenance of inter-confessional and inter-religious consent in Russia.
“Today Islamic world is experiencing hard times, and international terrorist threats are the main problem in Russia and other countries. We can overcome these hardships only by joint efforts,” Minnikhanov said. He informed that he headed Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group by the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and all ideas discussed at the forum would be considered by the group later on.
Minnikhanov wished participants of the event productive work and invited them to the event “Izge Bolgar zhyeny” on June 14.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
