Prime minister of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov: Presence of Tatpotrebsoyuz in Internet enables to develop more dynamically

Prime minister of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov spoke about a high role of personal farmsteads in village as additional source of incomes at the year end meeting on activity of consumer societies in 2009.

The meeting took place in a building of the Kazan cooperative technical college, RT State Council chairman Farid Mukhametshin, chief of RT President Staff Yury Kamaltynov, RT Deputy Prime minister - RT Minister of Agriculture and foodstuffs Marat Akhmets, heads of RT municipal regions took part in the event.

Head of the RT government Rustam Minnikhanov noted that today it is difficult to overestimate a value of consumer cooperation for agricultural population. As he said, the consumer cooperation was and will be demanded both by peasants and consumers of agricultural products in the republic.

Today, up to 25 % of settlements in Tatarstan have no shops (trading networks), and RT Prime minister stated that this problem should have been necessary solved. In particular, he suggested to organize an itinerant trade at these settlements.

Rustam Minnikhanov also noted, that a project of creating the complex allowing to solve the issues of manufacture and sale of agricultural output would be advanced.

He reminded that this project has been presented to RF Minister of economic development Elvira Nabiullina. «We shall advance this project in the republic», - Rustam Minnikhanov said.

RT Prime minister also supported the idea stated today at a meeting with RT State Council chairman Farid Mukhametshin: “Tatpotrebsoyuz needs its own site in the Internet.
In Rustam Minnikhanov's opinion, presence in Internet will give the opportunity for consumer cooperation to develop more dynamically. Besides, he suggested to involve Tatpotrebsoyuz in a structure of the electronic tenders (ETIS). It is supposed that a section devoted to Tatpoterbsoyuz will appear on a site of the RT Ministry of Agriculture and foodstuffs (within the limits of official portal of RT Government).

In turn, RT State Council chairman Farid Muhametshin proposed to renew the activity of specialized shops «Dary Prirody (Gifts of nature )» (earlier, Tatpotrebsoyuz was the main supplier of a network of these shops). In Farid Mukhametshin's opinion, it will allow to ramp up the sale volumes of output received from individual part-time farms, provide a guarantee of qualitative fresh produce.

As Tatpoterbsoyuz Board chairman Mahmut Fattakhov informed that a volume of procuring activity of his department in 2009 made 2,1 billion rbl. (growth to 2008 - 133 %). Growth of procuring turnover occurred due to increase in purchases of meat (132 %), milk - (131 %), wool (109 %), honey (137 %), and due to bakeries (118 %).

The volume of retail commodity circulation made 4,3 billion rbl. (growth to 2008 - 115 %). In 2010, the volume of commodity circulation in the sum not less than 5 billion rbl. is planned.

As a whole, a total volume of Tatpotrebsoyuz activity for 2009 made 7,5 billion rbl. (growth to 2008 - 121 %).

Chairman of Committee on small and medium entrepreneurship T. Shagivaleev reported on realization of the project of agro-industrial park in Tatarstan. He informed, that process of designing park would come to the end in 2010, construction to be carried out in 2010-2012. Under the project, the trading areas of park will make 10 thousand sq. meters, industrial - 15 thousand sq. meters, warehouse - 10 thousand sq. meters.
