Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of Halcyon Gallery Paul Green

On June 23, at his meeting with President of Halcyon Gallery Paul Green (England), Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that global society is now more interested in Tatarstan and more tourists are coming to the republic. Therefore, there is a need for developing city public places.
Minnikhanov noted that construction of the family center “Kazan” was one of the successful projects.
Paul Green thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for reception and noted that Kazan and Tatarstan have big tourist potential. “Today your republic is known for its sports and industrial achievements, and you can attract more people by means of culture and art,” Paul Green added.
He told about the history of Halcyon Gallery and its main activities. Paul Green showed Rustam Minnikhanov pictures of sculptures that are presented by the gallery in different countries and told about their influence on the increase of tourist flow. “Considering the cultural and historical monuments of Tatarstan, you can create something very unique,” he said.
Summing up, Paul Green added that first proposals on opening the exhibition of decorative art in Kazan would be announced within a month.

“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
