Valery Kandilov: 16,5 thousand people will be engaged for holding All-Russian census in Tatarstan in 2010
Head of territorial body of Federal state statistics service on RT Valery Kandilov told about holding All-Russian census in Tatarstan in October, 2010 at a traditional briefing in House of RT Government. He reminded that the census will be held on October, 14-25 (Decree of RF Government dated 23.12.2009 №1074 “On organization of All-Russian census in 2010”).
Valery Kandilov informed that in Tatarstan the work on preparation and holding a census began in April, 2008. Republican and territorial commissions for assistance to preparation and holding the census have been created . The Republican commission is headed by RT Prime Minister, in 43 municipal regions and Naberezhnye Chelny - by Heads, in Kazan – by Chief of Executive Committee.
In fact, 16,5 thousand people will be involved for holding census in Tatarstan. Upon the whole, bodies of RT Ministry of interior, managing companies, chairmen of householders society (TSZH), senior tenants will be attracted for providing access to houses and explanatory work for citizens.
It is planned to attract for work within frameworks of census students, teachers, employees of social services, unemployed citizens registered in employment service.
According to Valery Kandilov 0,69 % from the total quantity of citizens didn’t participate in census 2002.
A contest among municipal regions for the best organization and holding of All-Russian census 2010 will be held in republic.
