Rustam Minnikhanov opens new House of People’s friendship

On June 27, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Nurlat region to take part in 9th All-Russia national holiday of Chuvash culture “Uyav”.
Upon arrival Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin, Head of Nurlat region Ravil Kuzyurov took part in opening of the House of Friendship.
Local branch of the World Congress of Tatars, Chuvash national and cultural society, representative office of Russian national and cultural association in Nurlat, Uzbek, and Tadjik diasporas, and public organization of veterans of Chechen and Afghan wars will work in the new building of the House of friendship.
“Our republic is multi-ethnic and multi-confessional. Peace and stability help us to live and develop. There are six houses of friendship in the republic and we are planning to open two more this year. This work is always controlled by Farid Mukhametshin,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Rustam Minnikhanov handed a certificate for 1 million roubles to Director of the new House of Friendship and looked around the building. He noted that all conditions for holding different national holidays are provided there.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
