Ildar Khalikov meets Cuban Ambassador to Russia Emilio Lozada García

On June 29, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov and Cuban Ambassador to Russia Emilio Lozada García discussed prospects of further mutually beneficial cooperation between Cuba and Tatarstan, opening of a service center in Cuba for Russian helicopters used in Latin America, and implementation of joint projects in the sphere of health care, pharmaceutics, engineering, tourism and petrochemistry.
Ildar Khalikov noted that Tatarstan and Cuba had held many joint events, including the 13th session of Inter-government Russia- Cuba commission in Kazan, visit of Cuban Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Mr Ricardo Cabrisas to Tatarstan.
Emilio Lozada García thanked Ildar Khalikov for reception and noted that Tatarstan is an important strategic partner of Cuba.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Prime Minister on foreign economic activity Nazil Nasibullin, and representatives of big regional enterprises took part in the meeting.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
