Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov made report at international conference "Russia and world: challenges of new decennary”

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov is currently in Moscow taking part in international conference "Russia and world: challenges of new decennary”. It is being held in building of Academy of national economy under RF Government. The conference is aimed at revealing priorities of social and economic policy and development of instruments for practical realization in 2010.

The event is being held in form of panel discussions and expert “circle tables”. Participants discuss key tendencies and challenges of country development.

RF First vice-premier Igor Shuvalov, Minister of economic development of RF Elvira Nabiullina, Head of RF Sberbank German Gref, top politicians and officials, Russian and foreign researches and consultants take part in the conference.

Speaking to participants of the conference Rustam Minnikhanov said that in crisis conditions the main task on keeping social stability is realized in republic. He told about anti-crisis programs implemented in Tatarstan. Thus, Tatarstan has intensively participated in realizing anti-crisis program on decreasing tension at labour market. RT PM said likewise about problems in building sector. Special attention was paid to capital repair and construction of available housing. Financial crisis also seriously influenced automobile sector. Federal program on equipping municipal units and regional organizations by auto machinery allowed implementing modernization of republican institutions.

Telling about perspectives of development Rustam Minnikhanov dwelled on sector of oil processing and petrochemistry.

“Buran” (Snow storm) plan put into operation in Tatarstan

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds urgent meeting of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety

On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.

On 29 December, speaking at a briefing held in Tatarstan Government House on issues of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of road services and housing and communal services during the holidays, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin said that during the holidays special attention will be given to providing heat supply to apartment buildings.

Aleksey Pesoshin will fulfill wishes of four kids during the action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes”

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation. The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
