Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of the modernized production line at OOO “Kazan house-building factory” (Kazan DSK)

On July 1, Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Mikhail Men, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin took part in opening of the modernized production line at OOO “Kazan house-building factory” (Kazan DSK).
Ak Bars Development started modernization of the plant in 2012 in cooperation with Finnish and German experts. The investments made 1.5 billion roubles. The use of modern technologies will decrease construction costs and increase accessibility of housing in the republic.
Mikhail Men congratulated everyone on the event and said that he was satisfied with the modernized production facilities. He noted that panel house building is a widely discussed issue nowadays. “Every technology has its advantages and disadvantages. I have visited many cities and house-building factories, and many panel houses have the same quality as other ones.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that opening of the modernized production is a very important event, and that the regional Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities pays much attention to housing construction. He added that a world-class producer of panel houses is now working in the republic and new jobs have been provided.
Letters of gratitude of Tatarstan President were handed over and the modernized factory was officially opened. Its opening was timed to the International conference “Development of large panel construction in Russia, InterConPan-2015” that is being held in Kazan.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
