On July 2, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor met with labour and WWII veteran Faizi Galiev to congratulate him on his 90th anniversary.
Faizi Galiev is twice Cavalier of the Order of the Red Banner of Labour, the order “Of merits for the Republic of Tatarstan”, honoured agricultural worker of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Federation, deputy of TASSR and Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated Faizi Galiev on his anniversary and thanked him for his long service. He said that Faizi Akhmetovich liked people and always cared for wellbeing of agricultural workers.
Faizi Galeev thanked for the honour given by Tatarstan leadership. He noted that he went through difficult times he was happy and proud to achieve improvement of life in the country, reach mutual understanding with leadership of the region, industry and republic, in particular with the Tatarstan President, who contributed to his success.
Mintimer Shaimiev wished the veteran strong health, wellbeing and good luck.
Faizi Galiev is a member of the Tatarstan Union of Writers, the author of 5 books. His new book , “Our time” was published this year.
On 18 January at a regular Saturday meeting in the Government House of the republic it was announced that by his decree from 18 January 2025 the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov appointed Marat Fayzrakhmanov to the post of the Minister of Finance of the republic.
On 15 January, speaking at a briefing in the Government house of the republic dedicated to implementation of national projects in Tatarstan, the Minister of Economy of the republic Midkhat Shagiakhmetov informed about main achievements of the republic in 2019-2024 and said that more than 228bn rubles has been allocated on implementation of the national projects in the republic for the last six years.
On 13 January Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov took part in a ceremony of opening a college for training qualified specialists in IT and robotics at the University of Innopolis. The college established as a pilot project will enroll first 75 students in 2025-2026 academic year, and, speaking at the ceremony, Roman Shaykhutdinov emphasized its strategic importance in the context of national tasks.
On January 12, on the Day of Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated the officials of the Prosecutor’s Office on their professional holiday.
