Rustam Minnikhanov opens new kindergarten in Naberezhnye Chelny

On July 6, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Naberezhnye Chelny to meet First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Federation Government Maxim Akimov and take part in a meeting on the development of single-industry towns.

During his working visit to the city Minnikhanov, accompanied by Head of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, took part in the opening ceremony of a new kindergarten.

The kindergarten houses a methodical room, medical unit, language room, music and sports halls and a swimming pool.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minnikhanov noted that last year 56 new pre-school educational institutions was put into operation and 73 have been open this year. This is an absolute record for the history of Tatarstan, he emphasized.

"We have proceeded to the construction of a new school in this neighborhood. There some economic problems but we will overcome them. The main challenge we are facing is the development of social infrastructure: good kindergartens, health care facilities, landscaped parks and gardens,” Minnikhanov said.

Magdeyev reported six new kindergartens are planned to be built in 2015. Over the past few years more than 9.5 thousand new places were created in preschool facilities, he added.

Also, Minnikhanov together with Minister of Health of the republic Adel Vafin and Head of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeyev got acquainted with the activity of the repaired Kama Children's Medical Center.

The center was repaired within the framework of the programme "Modernization of the health institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2011 - 2012.”

Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan looked around the renovated premises, talked to the medical staff and little patients.

Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out that the repair of health facilities in Naberezhnye Chelny will be continued.
