Head of Tatarstan government Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in World economic forum in Davos

Currently RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov is in Davos (Switzerland) is taking part in opening of the 40th World economic forum. The slogan of forum is “Let’s make the state of planet better: Rethink Re-plan and Rebuild the world”.

2500 participants gather at forum. They are leaders of the largest world companies, governments, international and non-government organizations, well-known economists.

Russian delegation is headed by Vice-premier of RF government - RF Minister of finance Aleksey Kudrin. Within limits of forum’s program he will take part in panel discussion “History of new growth” where the role of developing markets in global economy will be discussed.

Moreover, Republic Tatarstan will be presented by Director General of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin, Director General of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov and Director General of JSC “TAIF” Albert Shigabutdinov.

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov plans to hold meeting with founder of the forum in Davos Mr Klaus Schwab. Tatarstan delegation will take part in solemn opening of World economic forum in Davos (Congress Centre, Congress Hall).

By words of Aide to Prime Minister on foreign economic activity Iskander Mouflikhanov on January, 28 Rustam Minnikhanov has some meetings planned and participation in plenary sessions “ New Growth Narrative” and “Global Governance Redesigned”.

In the course of his visit Klaus Schwab held meetings with representatives of Tatarstan business elite (Kazan City Hall), visited Kazan State University and held lecture “Challenges of the future: responsibility of world community”.
