Rustam Minnikhanov holds regular meeting of Tatneft Board of Directors

On July 28, in Kazan Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a regular meeting of Board of Directors of Tatneft oil company.
The meeting discussed the results of the Tatneft budget implementation in the first half of 2015 and approved the budget for August of the current year.
The Board discussed results of the implementation of the environmental programme for the period from 2000 to 2015. During the reporting period, the oil workers spent more than 62 billion roubles for activities aimed at nature conservation. The most effective areas of the programme implementation have been pointed out: transfer of vehicles to gas fuel, introduction of vapor recovery systems, waste sludge, and others.
There are facilities for the production of pipes with an inner and outer protective coating established at the company to ensure stable and trouble-free operation of production facilities, improve their industrial and environmental safety.
There are more than 600 oil recovery facilities, booms and bio-ponds in operation to prevent water pools' pollution. Telemonitoring systems with the readings' output to the control room are used for an operational determination of chloride ions in water bodies. This allows the company performing round the clock monitoring of the waterways condition, as well as prompt identifying of the pollution sources and taking measures to eliminate them in case of the situation deterioration.
As it was noted at the meeting, Tatneft continues to pay close attention to the rational use of associated petroleum gas (APG). The implementation of the planned activities supports an indicator of APG efficient use for the whole company at a level not less than 95 per cent. In the future, a 98-percent level of APG utilization is projected to reach.
The work on elaborating the fourth environmental programme designed for 2016-2020 years is underway at the company. Its main objectives will be the reduction of anthropogenic impact on the environment and rational natural resources management.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
