Rustam Minnikhanov visits social facilities in Mendeleevsk region

On August 3, during his working trip to Mendeleevsk region (Tatarstan), Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited two social facilities.
It should be reminded that Tatarstan is carrying out the construction of new social facilities and the reconstruction of the existing ones under the regional programmes using the budget funds. Despite the challenging economic conditions in the country, the implementation of all 30 current regional programmes is underway on errand of Minnikhanov. In particular, only for the first half of 2015 18 health facilities have been built and renovated in Tatarstan. Nearly 2 billion roubles have been allocated from the regional budget for these purposes.
Today Minnikhanov accompanied by Tatarstan Minister of Health Adel Vafin has visited the renovated Mendeleevsk Central Regional Hospitall.
The repair works started in 2012 under the regional healthcare modernization programme. The total amount of budgetary funds allocated for this purpose amounted to 74.5 million roubles.
Therapeutic, surgery, gynecology departments, pediatric and intensive care unit as well as a waiting room are functioning in the hospital with an area of about four square meters. Due to the overhaul the facilities are fully accessible for the disabled and other people with limited mobility. The hospital is equipped with new medical equipment.
During his working visit to the region Minnikhanov also visited the Khimik sports complex opened after the reconstruction, which was carried out at the expense of the budget funds. The sports complex is designed for 325 visits per day.
Minnikhanov looked around halls and sports grounds, watched the athletes while they training, as well as took part in a solemn ceremony of the opening of the sports complex.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
