Rustam Minnikhanov inspects harvesting campaign in Alkeevsk region

On August 5, during his working trip to Alkeevsk municipal region of Tatarstan Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov and Head of Executive Committee of Alkeevsk region Aleksandr Nikoshin got familiar with the current situation on the fields.
The harvesting campaign is approaching its equator in Alekseevsk region, with 19,000 hectares having been harvested.
At his meeting with heads of agricultural enterprises Minnikhanov noted that despite dry summer, the harvesting has to be completed in due time with minimum losses.
Head of agricultural department in Alkeevsk region Robert Gadiev reported that to date, 41 thousand tonnes of bread have been treshed, with the yield making 22 tonnes per hectares. As many as 90 harvesters are working on the fields.
Later the same day, Minnikhanov attended the opening of a country club for 100 people in the village of Nizhnee Kolchurino.
Minnikhanov reminded that 30 programmes are underway in the republic, some of which are aimed at rural development, in particular, construction of new roads, cultural facilities, health care facilities and other.
The opening of an interregional eye surgery center is another important event for Alkeevsk region. The facility is created on the basis of public-private partnerships and aims to provide high-quality medical assistance to residents of remote areas of Zakamsk region.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
