He emphasized that three new filling stations (in Nizhnekamsk, Bugulma and Zelenodolsk) are planned to be put into operation this year. Moreover, the reconstruction of a station in Naberezhnye Chelny is completing. Interim President of the republic said that the current network of ten filling stations makes it possible to organize cyclical routes of gas fuel vehicles throughout Tatarstan.
During the meeting Gazprom GazomotornoeToplivo presented a project on construction of a complex for production of liquefied natural gas and network KrioAZS in Tatarstan.
It is planned that Tatarstan will become the first region in Russia, where an integrated production and marketing infrastructure based on liquefied gas fuel will be established. To do this, the construction of a complex for liquefied natural gas is planned in the Chistopol industrial park. Its construction is expected to be carried out in several stages up to 2030 with a gradual build-up of capacity to 200 million tonnes of gas per year. The project also envisages creation of a marketing network of 13 KrioAZS filling stations. During the construction of new infrastructure, a priority in cooperation will be given to domestic manufacturers of basic technological equipment.
It is predicted that by 2030, liquefied natural gas will be used more than 16 thousand units of equipment as a motor fuel in Tatarstan, especially for road transport. The annual consumption of liquefied gas will amount to 197,000 tonnes.
The meeting noted that the project will enhance economic efficiency and competitiveness of transport companies, tax revenues to the regional budget, job creation and environmental improvement.
