On August 11, during his working trip to San Paolo (Brazil) Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Ibirapuera Park where he has become familiar with the experiences of improving and developing public urban spaces.

The Ibirapuera Park is the second largest city park and covers an area of 140 hectares. The park is a complex where nature and architecture flow into one another. In particular, there are several museums, an exhibition center, a planetarium, an astrophysics school and administrative buildings.

Minnikhanov and members of Tatarstan delegation were told that the Ibirapuera is the most popular place in the city. It provides a full range of sports and entertainment services: equipped bike paths, children's playgrounds, green areas and public catering. In addition, the park is one of the centers of social life of the citizens, with its conference centers and museums hosting a variety of exhibitions and other events.

Minnikhanov noted that a lot of the solutions of Brazilian architects and designers may find application in the development of parks and gardens in Tatarstan.
