Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of Reading and Recreation Park named after G. Tukai in Nizhnekamsk

On August 14, within the framework of his working trip to Nizhnekamsk, Interim President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the opening of Reading and Recreation Park named after G. Tukai. Head of Nizhnekamsk region Aidar Metshin and other officials were present in the event. In addition, later on the same day library of new generation was opened there.
Interim President of Tatarstan Republic congratulated Nizhnekamsk citizens on these events and noted that combination of the library and thematic park will become a good example for the whole republic. “State-of-the-art technologies are used here, we invited the most experienced specialists from Moscow. We are planning to realize our ideas in other regions of Tatarstan Republic. I hope that the park will attract school children, students and adults”, Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Aidar Metshin reminded that both park and library are opened in the framework of Year of Parks and Squares initiated by Rustam Minnikhanov.
64 million roubles were allocated from republic budget to implementation of the project. The park designed by Nizhnekamsk architects covers 3.2 hectares with unusual fountain, sculptures of characters of G. Tukai poems, comfortable benches, free Wi-Fi, flower beds and lawns, pedestrian and bicycle lanes, and bicycle, scooters and roller-blades rental service.
As for the library, 9 million roubles were allocated to upgrade it, and there are three reading rooms of fiction literature, periodicals and professional literature, respectively. Nizhnekamsk citizens can visit the cafe theatre, creative workshop and Children's Room.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
