Head of RT government Rustam Minnikhanov considers it is necessary to provide every teacher with notebook computer

Within framework of Teacher’s year ambitious project on providing every teacher with laptops “Notebook for every teacher in Teacher’s year” is being launched in Tatarstan. This was announced today by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov at final session of RT Ministry of education and science.

Chief Federal inspector on RT Marsel Galimardanov, Deputy Chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova, RT Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov, State Advisor under RT President on social issues Tatyana Larionova, Head of Rectors union of RT institutes of higher education, Rector of Kazan State University Myakzyum Salakhov and other officials took part in the collegium.

Head of republican government considers that in current conditions a teacher is not able to solve set tasks without using up-to-date technologies and informatization devices.

By words of Head of RT Centre of information technologies Nikolay Nikiforov 450 mln. roubles are needed for implementation of project “Notebook for every teacher in Teacher’s year”. “There are positive tendencies now of federal co-financing of such programs”, - Head of CIT RT said.

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation. The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
