Governor of Moscow Oblast Andrey Vorobiev visits Universiade village

On August 14, within the framework of working trip to Tatarstan Republic, delegation of Moscow Oblast led by Governor of Moscow Oblast Andrey Vorobiev visited Universiade village. The guests were accompanied by Interim President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, Tatarstan Minister of Youth and Sports Vladimir Leonov, Head of ANO “Executive office of sports projects” Azat Kadyrov and other officials.
The delegation visited International information center where Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism is located. The Governor was informed that International information center was used while holding Universiade in 2013 and World Aquatics Championship this year. The guests were also told about provision of security measures and communication systems applied during competitions. In addition, educational projects of the academy were presented to the delegation.
After that Rustam Minnikhanov and Andrey Vorobiev looked around Universiade village by electric cars. Guests also saw the living rooms, classrooms, medical unit, and residential facilities in one of the buildings.
In conclusion, Minnikhanov and Vorobiev had a meeting with participants of FINA World Masters Championship that is being held in Kazan these days. Foreign guests shared their impressions about accommodation in Universiade village and about Kazan.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
