Rustam Minnikhanov meets Managing Director of Junior Hockey League Aleksey Morozov

On August 14, before beginning of charity ice hockey match “With All Heart” Interim President of Tatarstan Republic held a meeting with Managing Director of the Junior Hockey League Aleksey Morozov in the negotiations hall of Kazan Sports Palace. Minister of Youth and Sports of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov, President of Ak Bars ice hockey club and President of the Ice Hockey Federation of Tatarstan Shafagat Takhautdinov and other officials were present in the event.
During meeting Minister of Youth and Sports of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov told about constructing ice rinks and popularization of ice hockey. According to him, there are 39 indoor ice rinks and the 40th one is expected to be opened in Kazan. There are 49 divisions of ice hockey in youth sports schools with 30 thousand people going in for ice hockey. As for Junior Hockey League, it has three teams in Naberezhnie Chelny, Kazan and Nizhnekamsk, respectively.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Aleksey Morozov discussed issues related to development of mass and high performance sport in Tatarstan Republic, iincluding ice hockey.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
