Marat Akhmetov: 834,000 hectares thrashed in Tatarstan Republic

On August 15, at a regional meeting in the form of a video conference at Tatarstan Government House held by Interim President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov with the participation of all municipal regions, Tatarstan Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov reported by data on August 15, 834,000 hectares or 53 per cent of harvesting area have been thrashed in Tatarstan. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov also participated in the event.
According to Marat Akhmetov, 1.8 million tonnes of grain have been milled. Average harvest yield on the republic’s fields makes 21.3 centner per hectare, compared with 22.3 centner per hectare made last year.
Harvesting leaders are Alkeevsk, Apastovo, Zainsk, Buinsk and Nurlat regions with the largest harvested areas, while Mendeleevsk, Tukay, Elabuga, Verkhny Uslon and Muslyumovo regions have been criticized for the least harvested areas.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
