Rustam Minnikhanov visits Kazan International Equestrian Complex

On August 30, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Minister of Agriculture Marat Akhmetov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and heads of ministries and agencies of the republic attended traditional celebrations of the Republic Day at Kazan International Equestrian Complex.
Upon arrival Rustam Minnikhanov visited the exposition of local agricultural and food enterprises, and farms. Along with trotting horse races Arabian horse races were held at the Kazan hippodrome.
This year’s races were marked by the participation of jockeys from different countries competing for the special prize established by Abu Dhabi ruling dynasty. Pure Arabian horses took part in the races. Jockeys from Russia, CIS, Germany, Ireland, China, Korea, Oman, Malaysia, Hungary, Great Britain, and the UAE applied for participation in the competitions. The total prize fund was 7 mln roubles.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
