Rustam Minnikhanov meets Sheikh Hamad-Bin-Ibrahim-Al-Khalifa

On August 30, in a meeting hall of the Kazan International equestrian complex Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met Sheikh Hamad-Bin-Ibrahim-Al-Khalifa (Kingdom of Bahrain).
Minnikhanov welcomed the guest and thanked him for accepting his invitation.
Interim President of the republic expressed his hope that the stay of Sheikh Hamad-Bin-Ibrahim-Al-Khalifa in Kazan will leave only pleasant memories.
Minniknanov briefed about the regional economy and expressed his wish to develop further cooperation, increase trade turnover and strengthen existing contacts in varies fields.
According to him, the interaction with Islamic countries within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is actively developing.
Minnikhanov also reminded that on errand of the Russian President Vladimir Putin he chairs the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia – Islamic world”.
“We attach great importance to the strengthening of relations and cooperation with the countries of the Islamic world”, he said during the meeting.

On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
