Rustam Minnikhanov inspects cultural heritage sites in the center of Kazan

On September 2, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by mufti of the republic Kamil hazrat visited the Galeev mosque, a cultural heritage site in Kazan that is being reconstructed.
The decision about creation of a residence of Spiritual Muslim Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan was made in 2014. The Galeev mosque, the house of M.I.Galeev and other buildings will be a part of the residence. Rustam Minnikhanov asked to speed up the reconstruction works.
Later on the same day, Minnikhanov inspected reconstruction works in the house of M.I.Galeev. The funding of the project was more than 100 mln roubles.
At the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit Rustam Minnikhanov was met by Feofan, Metropolitan of Tatarstan and Kazan. The church is a former puppet theatre that was handed over to the Kazan eparchy for free use in May 2012. More than 100 mln roubles of state funds were allocated for the reconstruction of the church.
Minnikhanov also visited the Orthodox upper secondary school named after St. Gurias, archbishop of Kazan. He was told about plans on development of the school.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
