Rustam Minnikhanov meets Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov

On September 2, during Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Forum, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov to discuss further cooperation between the regions in petrochemical and engineering industries.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Rustem Khamitov for his visit and noted that leaders of both republics are facing the task on maintaining oil, gas and petrochemical cluster, and cooperation in this sphere is very important.
Rustem Khamitov said that oil production needs profound changes. It is important to increase oil recovery index and develop hard to recover deposits.
“It is a very hard work. We will achieve better results if we do it together,” Rustem Khamitov summarized.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
