6 September 2015, Sunday
On September 6, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishamn visited the Aksenov Square and Millennium Park within the framework of the Day of Parks and Squares in Tatarstan.

The Aksyonov Square is dedicated to the memory of the famous Russian writer Vasily Aksenov. During the square improvement its green zone was divided into two parts: the active (a central walkway that goes to a small amphitheater) and the calm (free planning for walking and recreation).

Khalikov looked around a new park and discussed its further development with Natalia Fishman. She said that literary readings, festivals (jazz festival “Aksyonov-fest "), musical evenings, exhibitions, etc. will be the main events to be held in the park. In addition, measures are being taken to ensure barrier-free access for the disabled and people with limited mobility.

Then Khalikov went to the Millennium Park, where the festival of talents "Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk" was held. During his conversation with Fishman Khalikov suggested developing additional measures to promote new parks and gardens to the public.
