Rustam Minnikhanov: “We need to determine competitive advantages of Chistopol region”

On September 11, during his working visit to Chistopol municipal region Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met activists of the region.
Before the event, Minnikhanov had visited the exhibition of products of Chistopol enterprises.
Speaking at the meeting Head of Chistopol municipal region Dmitry Ivanov reported on the progress of the regional investment programmes. He, in particular, thanked the regional leadership for continuing financing all the programmes underway aimed at the development of the regions, including Chistopol region, despite the difficult economic situation.
"The task of the local authorities is to make the city and the region attractive for life, to create conditions for young people to stay in their native city and village," he stressed.
Speaking about the development of Chistopol region, Minnikhanov noted that the municipality takes its rightful place in the economic and social life of the republic. At the same time, according to him, a number of areas of development of the region should be intensified.
"We need to determine competitive advantages of your city and the region," he said.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
