Rustam Minnikhanov is receiving greetings on his election as Tatarstan President. Representatives of federal authorities, leaders of foreign states, foreign political leaders, Russian and foreign businessmen, heads of big industrial companies, representatives of cultural, educational and sports spheres are sending letters, telegrams, and greetings.
First Deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov said that reelection as Tatarstan President means that the country’s leadership and citizens trust him.
President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu, and Minister of foreign affairs of Turkey Feridun Sinirlioğlu, Ambassador of Turkey to Russia Ümit Yardim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Russia Marat Tazhin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Russia Lozada Garcia, governor of Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov and deputies of the Russian State Duma send their greetings.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
