Regional branch of Russian Military Historical society to open in Tatarstan

On September 16, tPrime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov and Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky on behalf of the Russian Military Historical Society signed a protocol of intentions “on establishing regional branch of the Russian Military Historical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan”.
Ildar Khalikov reminded that the organization was founded by the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin dated as of December 29, 2012 (№1710).
He noted that it is the response to challenges of the time and attempts to rewrite the history of Russia.
Ildar Khalikov expressed his gratitude to Russian Ministry of culture and personally Vladimir Medinsky for supporting the work in Bolgar and Sviyazhsk.
Vladimir Medinsky described the work of Tatarstan leadership as outstanding. “I often cite Tatarstan as a good example. I want you to use the same style of work that has been established for the last 20 years at the new organization,” he said. He told about the work of the Military Historical Society.
The Military Historical Society continues the traditions of the Imperial Russian Military Historical Society, which was founded in 1907 and functioned until the 1917 revolution. Its main objective is to combine the efforts of the public and the state in studying the national military history and preserving national memory.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
