Let us support republican charitable action “Victory”

In May 2010 our country will celebrate an important event – 65 years of Victory in Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945. There is no family in Tatarstan which doesn’t remember about War. Currently 150 000 veterans of Great Patriotic War live in republic. 13,5 of them took part in battles. Time does not spare our veterans; less and less alive witnesses of that time are with us.

Today our task is to celebrate great anniversary worthily, to realize all the plans on preparation for celebration of 65 years of Victory in Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945. On threshold of this event it is important to pay special attention to improving social and living conditions, medical and material security of war veterans, medical social and psychological help to the elderly people, giving deep attention to lonely veterans.

Except for allocating budget means for mentioned purposes a special account for collection of charitable means by action “Victory” was opened in charitable fund “Ak Bars Sozidanie”. Enterprises, organizations and citizens of republic may give support to veterans of Great Patriotic War by transferring money to the following requisites:

The RT Cabinet initiated transferring one-day earnings to special account “Victory” and encourages all citizens of republic to support this charitable action.

Aleksey Pesoshin will fulfill wishes of four kids during the action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes”

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation. The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “ Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
