RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov holds meeting with finalists of project “Talent Pool”

Yesterday, on March, 2 RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with finalists of project on revelation and support of talented youth “Talent Pool”. It was held in House of RT government. 19 finalists were invited to the event. On behalf of Tatarstan government Rustam Minnikhanov presented the laptops to every finalist.

According to RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Marat Bariev more than 7 000 young people aged 15-30 years from all regions of republic had participated in a selection stage of the project “Talent pool”. 123 people – students, activists of public youth organizations and students associations were allowed to take part in the first face-to-face stage.

Every stage of project involved theoretical and practical knowledge of management, social planning, psychology, sociology, politology, learning of foreign languages and other branches of knowledge, master classes, defending youth socially significant projects. As a result of contest procedures, exams and tests 19 people have become finalists of the project. Marat Bariev noted that participants of “Talent Pool” realized more than 100 socially significant projects in schools, universities and municipal units.

The last stage of project will be practice in state executive bodies of Republic Tatarstan. The finalists have chosen 8 ministries for holding internship. Rustam Minnikhanov said that he is waiting for concrete proposals on reforming Tatarstan ministries from the finalists.

At the meeting finalists of “Talent Pool” addressed Rustam Minnikhanov with suggestions on reforming educational system and project “village youth”. Rustam Minnikhanov, in his turn, told about necessity of carrying out a serious work on improving level of developing higher school. He is sure this is possible only if there are qualified teachers.
