Tatarstan President visits PUSH Ningjiang Machine Tool in China

On October 10, during his working trip to Chengdu (China), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Sichuan machine-building company “PUSH Ningjiang Machine Tool” for production of machines.
Upon his arrival at the factory Minnikhanov looked around production facilities of machine-building company. Tatarstan President was told that "PUSH Ningjiang Machine Tool" is one of the largest Chinese manufacturers of precision machine tools and machining centers, flexible manufacturing systems with numerical control (CNC).
The company produces powerful lathes and gear cutting machines, lathes, sliding head stock lathes, small precision CNC lathes, horizontal lathes, gear hobbing machines, horizontal gear hobbing machines, automatic assembly machines, radiotherapy machines, screw compressors, drilling machines, reciprocating compressors, axial pumps.
At his meeting with the leadership of the plant Minnikhanov said that the main purpose of the visit of Tatarstan delegation to Sichuan province is expanding trade and economic cooperation between Tatarstan and China and establishing business contacts.
"We are interested in working with you. Tatarstan is a machine-building region. We have a lot of enterprises that need your machines. Chinese products of this sector are poorly represented in the Tatarstan market, systematic work with suppliers from China has not been organized yet," Tatarstan President said.
Minnikhanov proposed "PUSH Ningjiang Machine Tool" considering the establishment of its subsidiary or joint venture in Tatarstan to maintain the Russian machine-building plants.
Summing up, Minnikhanov invited Chinese partners to take part in the International specialized exhibition "Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan", which will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from December 2 to 4, 2015.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
