Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatartsan and Sichuan have good prospects for cooperation

On October 10, at his meeting with Governor of Sichuan province Wei Hong Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatartsan and Sichuan have good prospects for cooperation.
Minnikhanov thanked the governor for the excellent organization of the visit of Tatarstan delegation to Chengdu and expressed his appreciation for the hospitality. “I am impressed by the scale of the work, which is carried out under your leadership, aimed at improving the quality of life,” Minnikhanov said.
"We sincerely thank you for your attention to our delegation. You have a beautiful city, high-tech enterprises. We believe that all our today’s contacts were very productive,” he continued.
He stressed that the Sichuan province and Tatarstan have already established the dialogue. In August and September of the current year, the Chengdu delegation visited the republic. In late summer, an agreement on cooperation between the regions was signed.
Then Rustam Minnikhanov briefly told about the economic potential of Tatarstan. "We hope that business sector of your province will be interested in the opportunities of our region. We count on your support," Minnikhanov addressed Mr. Wei Hong.
Minnikhanov noted that the development of cooperation with the Chinese business sector is planned to be realized in two stages. The first one is the beginning of deliveries and the development of joint projects. The second stage is the localization of Chinese enterprises in Tatarstan.
"Tatarstan and Sichuan have good prospects for cooperation. We need to get closer and work intensively on the implementation of joint projects,” Minnikhanov said.
Thanking Tatarstan President for his visit, Mr. Wei Hong said that he was glad to meet such an impressive delegation (55 people). According to him, Tatarstan is known worldwide as a reliable partner and one of the most dynamically developing regions of Russia. “The cooperation with your republic is of great interest to us,” he said.
Then the sides discussed the most attractive areas for cooperation, in particular in field of education, high-tech, engineering, tourism and so forth.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
