On October 16, at All-Russia beauty and talent contest “Tatar kyzy-2015” in Chelyabinsk, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that Tatars of Chelyabinsk have always been known for unity and caring attitude to traditions.
Ildar Khalikov also took part in a press conference where he noted that unveiling of Musa Dzhalil monument was held earlier on the same day. He thanked leadership of Chelyabinsk region for active assistance in realization of this project.
Khalikov read out greetings of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov: “The first final of All-Russia contest “Tatar kyzy” is held in the Southern Urals for a reason. Chelyabinsk is the biggest cultural oasis of Tatar people. We should preserve and enrich the spiritual wealth that has been obtained by our ancestors for centuries. I am sure that this event will favour strengthening of mutual understanding between peoples and development of cooperation between Tatarstan and Chelyabinsk region.”
