Rustam Minnikhanov: We support the strive of Gagauzia for developing cooperation with Russian regions

On October 20, at his meeting with Head of Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia (Moldova) Irina Vlakh at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic supports the strive of Gagauzia for developing cooperation with Russian regions.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the guests for their interest towards Tatarstan and noted that cooperation between Cabinet of Ministers and Government of Gagauzia is carried out under the agreement signed in 1999. He entrusted the Ministry of Industry and Trade with coordinating work on developing interregional cooperation with Gagauzia.

Irina Vlakh thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for organization of the visit and invited him to the investment forum that will be held in Gagauzia on November 6-7.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Aleksei Pesoshin and Irina Vlakh signed plan of actions on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation between Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers and Executive Committee of Gagauzia for 2016-2018.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of competition committee “Manager of the Year – 2025”

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

Capital overhaul of 839 multi-apartment houses completed in Tatarstan with 40 houses still being under repairs

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “ Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
