In Tatarstan out of 2 bln. aimed at improving veteran’s housing conditions 1,3 billion roubles assimilated

On the threshold of 65-anniversary of Victory 1849 veterans have improved their living conditions within the framework of providing housing for war veterans. Such an information was provided by RT Minister of labour, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin at meeting on issues of major repairs in multi-family houses and housing construction. The meeting was held by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov in videoconference format with participation of all municipal regions.

Airat Shafigullin reported in details about realization of the program. By and large 1,3 billion roubles have been mastered in Tatarstan for these purposes. Airat Shafigullin addressed heads of municipal units on the subject of taking measures on quick finishing of the works on making lists of veterans who are in need of housing improvement.

Rustam Minnikhanov suggested carrying out explanatory work with veterans since many of them want to get flats only in Kazan, but there is no such a possibility in republic. Each case should be considered separately. Veterans may also get his subsidy in money and search for variants of housing improvement at free market (that is nonparticipation in program за social mortgage).

Public opinion poll showed that 2143 veterans (31 %) wish to improve their living conditions at the expense of social mortgage, 3,5 thousand people are going to find variants at free market, 1379 people are going to build houses in rural areas of the republic.
