Rustam Minnikhanov: Haldor Topsøe technologies are successfully used at our enterprises today

On November 10, at his meeting with President of Haldor Topsøe Bjerne Clausen at Tatarstan Government House, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that Haldor Topsøe is a strategic partner of Tatarstan and expressed his interest for further cooperation.   

“When I visited Copenhagen a year ago we discussed issues of scientific and technical cooperation between our universities, and I am very grateful to you that these agreements are being implemented,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. The president reminded about the 12th congress «EuropaCat-2015» that was held in Kazan in autumn, where Kazan Federal University, Kazan National Research Technological Institute and Haldor Topsøe signed a memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of personnel training and implementation of research and industrial projects.

Minnikhanov informed that Haldor Topsøe technologies are successfully used at regional enterprises, such as Taneco Refinery and Ammoni Fertiliser Complex. “We decided to proceed with the second phase of the Ammoni project in Mendeleyevsk. The idea has been worked out and I think it will soon be realized,” the president stated. He added that works are also underway at Taneco plant.

A the end of the meeting agreements were signed between Haldor Topsøe, Kazan Federal University and Kazan National Research Technological Institute.
