Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in session of Council under Russian President on development of physical culture and sport

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a session of Council under Russian President on issues of developing physical culture and sport, preparation and holding XXII Olympic winter games, XI Paralympic winter games 2014 in Sochi and XXVII world summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.
Council session will be held by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Sochi (Krasnodar region). Training of Russian sportsmen for Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi will be its main topic.
It is expected that in the course of meeting Russian Paralympiс committee will raise the issue on including new kinds of paralympic sport developed in Russia in a competition program of Paralympic games 2014 in Sochi (“Vertical hockey” and skating sport for the blind).

The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “
