Tatarstan Acting Prime Minister Ravil Muratov chairs session of governmental commission on preventing law-breaking

On April, 25 – September 15 a special plan “Kurort (health resort)” will be realized in a republic. RT Ministry of interior affairs plans to pay a serious attention to places of public recreation, hold operative preventive events on providing security of citizens near water areas, banks of rivers and basins. Besides, the operation “Akvatoria” will be launched with the beginning of bathing season.

Deputy minister of interior affairs on Republic Tatarstan - head of police of public security under RT ministry of interior affairs Evgeny Davletshin informed about it at a session of governmental commission on preventing law-breaking. It was held by Acting prime minister Ravil Muratov in format of videoconference with participation of all municipal units.

Evgeny Davletshin said likewise that in 2010 it is planned to open 36 city beaches, 26 park areas, 263 leisure bases, 37 health and recreation resorts and woodland parks.

Police posts are expected to be near places of public rest. Intensive attention will be paid to juvenile security in children camps and traffic safety on routes towards places of public relaxation.

For providing and protecting law and order in garden communities it is meant to hold meetings with chairmen of gardening associations and organize duties.

Barriers around territories of children camps will be reconstructed to provide juvenile and children security. Also several camps will be equipped with video monitoring systems.

Acting Prime minister Ravil Muratov reminded that at a federal level the decision had been made to reduce staff of Ministry of interior (by about 20 %). Taking into account this situation he suggested to provide interaction with private security firms functioning in the republic.

It was noted during the session that it is necessary to give due consideration to places of public rest near water areas. 145 cpeople drowned during bathing season 2009 (42 of them were in alcohol intoxication condition, 17 – children). Deputy Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Andrey Kondratyev said it is important to prepare outlets to water basins in republican children camps. He reminded as well that children and teenagers registered in commission on juvenile affairs (3, 7 thousand people) will have organized summer holidays.

In 2010 military sport camps will be organized in Menzelinsk, Chistopol, Kurkachi and Apastovo.

RT Deputy minister of labor, employment and social protection Klara Tazetdinova reported on juvenile employment during summer holidays. By her words, last year 60 thousand children and teenagers became employed. This year 41,6 mln. roubles have been allocated for this purpose. It will allow giving jobs to 48 thousand teenagers.

RT Deputy Minister o education and science Airat Zinnurov told about measures on organizing summer holidays for children in 2010.
